Murderkill Estuary sensor

deployment

From June 6th 2021 to July 6th 2021, the deployment was in collaboration with Dr. Jeremy Testa of Chesapeake Biological Laboratories (CBL) in Solomon's Island, MD. This campus is located at the mouth of the Patuxent River at the Chesapeake Bay.

If you walk along the CBL pier, you will find an oyster aquaculture farm on both sides. This collaboration aims to understand the effects of oyster aquaculture on the ambient biogeochemical parameters. Multiple parameters included (but were not limited to): pH, pCO₂, salinity, and temperature.
